At BeaverCreekOnline.com we believe that giving
back to the community is an important part of our daily lives. Kenton
Hopkins MRE, CRS, GRI and David McHugh e-PRO strongly support the following
charitable organizations and encourage you to support them as well.
Habitat for Humanity of Eagle and Lake Counties is a non-profit,
ecumenical Christian housing ministry. Habitat for Humanity seeks to
eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from Eagle and Lake Counties,
and Habitat strives to make decent housing a matter of conscience and
action. Habitat invites people from all walks of life to work together
in partnership to help build houses with families in need. Interested
community members from all walks of life come together as volunteers to
carry out the important work of home construction, family selection and
support, fundraising, finding land and other critical tasks of the
Habitat affiliate. The lifeblood of Habitat are the volunteers, whose
spirit represents putting faith into action to eliminate poverty
housing. Click for more

The Vail Valley Charitable Fund (VVCF) helps people who live and
work in Eagle County who have overwhelming financial needs due to
medical crisis. To date, the organization has assisted six hundred
individuals and families in Eagle County, and has raised and dispersed
more than $5 million dollars.
The Vail Valley Charitable Fund has two main functions:
1.) On a monthly basis the Board of Directors reviews and awards
direct aid grants to individuals that apply.
2.) When a person's financial need is greater than a direct aid
grant can address, VVCF can assist with a community fundraiser for their
benefit. Click for more details.
Through athletics, culture and education, the Vail Valley Foundation
has been enriching our community, the lives of our residents, and those
of our guests since 1981. Fueled by the generous support of our donors
and an ongoing commitment to serve the people of the Valley, the
Foundation is responsible for providing our community with some of its
most treasured annual events, such as the Vail International Dance
Festival, AEI World Forum, American Ski Classic, Birds of Prey Race
Week, Honda Session, Vilar Performing Arts Center and our summer and
winter free concert series. We have also had the pleasure of bringing
major international events to the Vail Valley, including the 1989 and
1999 World Alpine Ski Championships and the 1994 and 2001 World Mountain
Bike Championships. Click for more details.
